We hired Gabby on recommendation because we wanted a positive experience and assurance of continuity of care.
Not only did Gabby provide fantastic guidance and information in the lead up to the birth, but she helped us through what ended up being a long and difficult labour resulting in an emergency caesarean section.
With ease and confidence, Gabby worked with the hospital midwives to help us achieve our birth plan where possible. As I reached exhaustion, she offered encouragement and support, and was there to help make me as comfortable as possible when we returned from theatre. Gabby also helped my husband to feel more empowered during moments where he wasn’t sure of how to support me.
Gabby also taught us the essentials to practice hypnobirting, which was highly educational and beneficial. I would recommend hypnobirthing to any expectant parent, it really is an enlightening way to approach the process of childbirth.
Thank you Gabby for sharing your depth of knowledge and your warm, caring approach when assisting us to become parents.
It was a great decision to have Gabby assist with the birth of our first son, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
